The Flowerbox is sent from our flower hub with an external courier. Which courier handles your order depends on the delivery address and the delivery day.
You can follow the delivery on our tracking page or via the link in your tracking email.
Follow the delivery yourself
As the person who placed the order, you won't be notified if a delivery attempt fails. So do follow the delivery via the tracking link, especially on the delivery day.
The recipient is notified by text message
All of our couriers send the recipient a text message before the delivery, to confirm the entry code and other details. Through the text message the recipient can adjust the information and follow the delivery. That's why it's important that you give a correct Danish mobile number for the recipient.
Once the flowers have been delivered, the recipient gets a confirmation by text message.
If the recipient isn't home
The Flowerbox is left outside the door where possible. If the flowers can't be left safely, the delivery driver takes them to a parcel shop, where they can be collected. If you know the recipient may be away, a Florist bouquet is a safer choice, since the florist can contact the recipient and agree on the delivery.
Institutions
Flowerboxes to business addresses and institutions – care homes, assisted living facilities, schools, hotels and hospitals – are only delivered by GLS, Tuesday to Friday during office hours. None of the couriers deliver to churches or burial sites.
DAO and Airmee only deliver to private addresses.
GLS
Delivers to the door between 08:00 and 16:00, Tuesday to Friday, to both private and business addresses.
If the recipient isn't home, the flowers are left at the door. If that isn't possible, the delivery driver takes them to a parcel shop, where they can be collected. The recipient is told where to collect them and should pick the flowers up as soon as possible, since they're perishable.
DAO
Delivers to the door at private addresses before 08:00, Tuesday to Sunday.
- If the delivery driver can't get into the building, the flowers are left outside the stairwell or entrance.
- If the flowers can't be left safely, the delivery driver will in rare cases take them to a collection point. The recipient is told where to collect them and should pick the flowers up as soon as possible.
After delivery the recipient gets a text message confirming that the flowers have arrived. DAO doesn't deliver to business addresses or institutions.
Airmee
Delivers to the door between 17:00 and 22:00, Mondays only.
If the delivery fails because of an incorrect phone number, entry code, door phone or similar, Airmee makes another attempt on the next possible delivery day. If that fails too, the order is canceled without a refund. Airmee doesn't deliver to business addresses or institutions.
Your responsibility as the person ordering
You're responsible for making sure the details in the order are correct. If the delivery fails because of incorrect details, there's no refund.
If you spot a mistake – get in touch as soon as you can.
